About the studio

We make the app
we wanted for our own kids.

Open Mind Studio LLC is a small independent studio in Georgia. We started Tiny & Milo because the screen time on offer for little kids was either loud and full of ads, or educational in a way that felt like homework. We wanted something in between: short, warm stories about real feelings, a moment to think, and a game to practise.

Meet the characters

Tiny and Milo.
little adventures, big lessons.

Tiny

Tiny

Curious, warm and a little bit shy. Tiny notices things: a thirsty tree, a lady who needs a seat, a friend without a snack. Her stories are about kindness, sharing and finding her calm when feelings get big.

Milo

Milo

Green glasses, big ideas, and a habit of trying again. Milo faces the dark basement, the doctor's chair and the puzzle that will not solve. His stories are about courage, patience and thinking before you choose.

How we make it

Every story follows
the same gentle loop.

We write each story around one everyday situation and one skill. Then we ask: what question would a parent ask afterwards? That becomes the quiz. Then we pick the mini-game that lets little hands practise the same idea.

1. A two-minute story

Narrated and sung, so no reading is needed. Calm pacing, a clear ending.

2. One picture quiz

The clip pauses and asks what happened and why, read out loud with three picture answers.

3. A matching mini-game

Sorting, matching, popping, finding. Big tap targets, gentle sounds, a sticker at the end.

Our promises to parents

Six things we will
never compromise on.

Nothing is sold to children

No ads, no in-app purchases in the child's hands, no dark patterns. The only purchase is the optional Premium plan, behind a parent gate, billed by Apple.

Nothing is collected

No sign-up, no profiles, no trackers. Stickers and settings live on the device. We follow COPPA and GDPR-K and wrote our privacy policy for parents, not lawyers.

Short on purpose

Stories run about two minutes and end at a natural stop. There is no autoplay feed and no reward for staying longer. Screen time can wait, and one of our stories says so.

Watching is not enough

Every story pauses for a picture quiz that asks what happened and why, then hands over to a mini-game that practises the same idea with little fingers.

Real feelings, everyday moments

A doctor's visit, a lost puppy, a tower that falls, a first day at school. Tiny and Milo meet the same situations your child does, and model what to do next.

Real humans reply

Write to us and someone from the studio answers within a business day or two. Feedback from parents shapes what we build next.

Where we are

A small team,
a long road ahead.

We are early. The app launched in the summer of 2026, and we ship new stories, quizzes and fixes every month. Our goal is simple to say and hard to do: build the best educational app for young kids, and earn the trust of every parent who installs it. If you have an idea, a bug, or a story your child would love, we want to hear it.
